Co. of Brooklyn, NY, Factory Engraved No.1 Derringer pistol, Civil War era, manufactured approximately 1869, .41 caliber rim fire, exposed trigger, nickel-plated receiver and handle with factory floral engraved details which includes a bird, 2.5 inch matching barrel with floral engraved details, top stamped "Moores Pat. F A. Co. Brooklyn, N.Y.," s#3697.
CONDITION:
Good action; fine-plus overall cosmetic condition, good rifled bore with light pitting, fine barrel with complete loss of finish, numerous small dings on barrel most notably on the left side, light dings to frame, frame having lost most of its original finish with most areas showing the brass; trigger with light pitting.
